Best client for Plex and Netflix?

Ive been loving my Now TVs as clients but now I also need something capable of playing netflix, from what I can see the best options are:

Roku Stick
Roku 3
Fire TV

The Fire TV has no IR which I think rules it out for me, anyone know if the speed of the 3 worth the premium over the Stick?

the android mx boxes can run plex can't they?
as well as running other android apps, xbmc, etc.

Ive got a few roku boxes here. didnt find any difference between the stick & roku box.
no idea which models I have, one is from about a year ago & the stick about 6 months ago.
Both was for testing, so no idea the exact model which made it to release.

One issue with the stick, was when my TV was set to standby, the USB port on my TV powered off.
So the stick had to boot up each time if I relied on my TV USB port.

I've got a fire TV on pre-order for £49 so will let you know how it is when it arrives.
