Damn load of balls, a re-hash of a common internet scam.

First program of his that i havent enjoyed.

And YES - I did want him to give me (and the rest of the world) a foolproof horse racing winning system.

was fairly predictable - tbh.. I had suspicions as to what he was doing from the start and pretty much guessed it when he showed the journalists the Polaroids

though the trick with the polariods was good and Id be interested to know how he got her the winner on the last race - did they bet on all horses and then switch the tickets before she looked or did they have an agree emtn with a bookie to pretend a bet was placed when in reality the production company was going to cover a 4 grand bet on whatever horse won

I did like his dig at alternative medicine/homeopathy part way through

there is nothing fool proof but there are definitely systems out there - Im testing one with a work colleague based on an idea I had after being introduced to someone else who works in the industry.

as an example - arbs are still possible though occur less frequency as every man and his dog has a betfair bot

there is also, so Ive been told, a satellite channel that offers a quicker news feed to some foreign races + some punters have laptops trackside and take advantaged of a slight broadcast delay to lay horses that fall on betfair

others have developed neural networks to make predictions with varying success.

my system exploits another tradeable but slightly more subtle edge which should leave me with a flat position + profit before the race even starts.

I like Derrern Browns stuff because he does not claim to be magical like many do, he says it is a mixture of things and he has been doing stuff since school and a lot of it is very simple basic things and combined to produce really clever things.

He was on TV here in NZ and I loved how he made the guy drunk by showing him a word and all done by talking and touching etc
Later though the lad (as it was in the student union) was in a library and he txt the word to him and set him off, lol - all very real his stuff but effective and why I like him
