Neato. Is it coming out this year? :)
Blizzard are already swimming in cash, together with this and SC II theyll have enough money to buy their own country. :P

They are the ideal that all pc developers should be.

Pity EA has either bought out or destroyed the rest of the market.

Only a couple of good devs left.

Not really, their news and information is terrable and they are some of the most boring developers out there.

People who talk about EA as they were a few years ago are old hat on their information tbh because EA buy and let the developers run how they like these days. EA Mythic a perfect example of that.

Yes, they are slowly realising what they did was a bad idea, still doesnt excuse them for killing off some of the best developers before they realised what they did.

The couple of developers they have left "untouched" are still pressured by EA for fast releases, and that isnt my opinion that has been said by a few of the lead devs from Mythic and Bioware. Their own departments are still releasing half finished buggy games that should have had at least 6 months more dev time to iron things out.

Yes, they arent the terrible company which destroyed westwood (I will never forgive them for that), but they are still a company far too focused on the quick buck rather than making high end games. The only reason they are changing is because they have noticed how damaging their lacklustre games have been to their brand image.

That is odd as I do not think this is true because the pc version of bioshock has been delayed twice by bioware and not forced out by EA and the same goes with WAR by EA Mythic. No release date was set till late in the day for bioshock on the 360 also.

This applies to their sport element 100% but not in other areas any more in terms of owned companies, in house this may be the case but if they just provide money for companies and more or less leave them be then that is cool.

Lots of people who like blizzard seem to forget they are an owned company and one actualy worse then EA in what they do with games companies and are themselves forcing blizzards had, they have said the next expansion will be this year, so with starcraft 2 and many have got the sense blizzard are not best happy since it looks like both if they had anything to say would be next year releases.
