Flipper zero

Received one today, absolute sh*t housing tool.

Remember being at school at some idiot kid had a remote control watch that could turn off a telly? Times that by 10 and add a load of other madness features.

If you get one here are some resources,

I have mentioned it on here before and I want one. They want like +$300 AU though which is too much. I remember the kickstarter and wish I did a backing but I had already lost out on 2 smart watches and a charging stand so I did not pull the trigger.

It is an awesome bit of kit and just does so many things. I would love just to do the cloning features and the community is going great guns both hardware and software.
For me having work, gym fobs just in one device and things like arcade cards to use the machines etc, some of the home automation uses etc.

I also hope it is a start of more coming with further improvements like UI interface work, features, ease of use and functionality. For me this is really kind of not just a "soft" hacking tool but kind of the start to a true Star trek tricorder type affair.
Noting that for some Android phone users they can do some of what this does already but a phone that really packs scanning, detection, transmitting features coupling it with useful apps etc would just be dam cool

It looks really cool, but not something I would ever think I need for anything, though I do appreciate the ultimate sh*t-housery someone rightly minded could achieve with one

Had one for the last year or so. Relevant to my line of work and whilst i have a laptop and gear that can do everything it can do and better figured it was worth a punt on the kickstarter at the time as i'm a sucker for a good gadget.

Usage wise, it's a cool little toy and it can do a number of useful things. Most useful for me so far has been:

Clone a mates hotel key so I could dump my bag in his room and get it later. - This is a ridiculous use case, but it was rather handy.

It's brilliant for presentations - by far my most common use, the bluetooth acting as a controller for powerpoint.

Changing sources and controlling my father's TV when neither one of us could be arsed to get up to get the remote controller after settling down to watch a movie. :D

Oh and annoy my sister by setting off her doorbell.

Haven't used it in anger on any red or pentest jobs as it just hasn't been required or when I have needed something it could do, I've had better equipment on me at the time (e.g. a proxmark).
