If they were going to do a film (which they never should anyway) they should do it in the style of Advent Children and just make one giant CGI becuase everyone knows how well Blizzard do them!

Agreed, CGI would be great, the starcraft FMVs still are still great years on. :)

Hopefully we wont end up with another game-to-film translation as rubbish as Doom, or worse, Street Fighter (although the latter does fall into the so-bad-and-cheesey-its-actually-good category). :mrgreen:

tbh, super mario brothers should have been more about a mushroom addicted italian plumber who keeps thinking he is in a vibrantly colourful world but is actually going around killing people....

i think i watched too many david lynch films

anyway back to the main topic...

It should totally be that the wow movie should be in cgi, the cgi in the opening sequence of the game are truly jaw dropping..... *thinks about the fur coat on the dwarf*

but then it would also cost them a fortune to make.

live action is relatively cheap and not such a big risky venture if done more through a third party

I dont know, to do this film properly (which they are going to have to atleast try) its going to involve ALOT of CGI anyway.

Advent Children showed that CGI films are possible on low budget even if they do take a stupid amount of time to make :P
