How long does an artist need to be dead

before listening to them isnt a bit wierd? I was trying to enjoy some Elliott Smith the other day, and I couldnt get into it, as dying in 2003 seemed too freshly dead.

Ill pay homage to any artist I like recently deceased with a good playlist runthrough.

I guess its more people that commit suicide that I cant listen to. I was never a big Nirvana fan, but after Kurt died in 94, I never played another Nirvana tune, as I kept hearing a very troubled man about to kill himself. Not really a toe tapper. :lol:
