The aim is to have the highest score, and be in the Organisation with the highest score.

Score (LP (Loyalty Points)) is calculated based on kills I think so the resources are simply a means of getting more units to attack and get more score with.

You can play however you want, save up a small army and attack other small armies, save up huge forces to attack huge players, or wait until someone needs help with attacking someone, or needs defence (you can send your army to defend another player as well as attacking them)

The game is still going through its beta after being resurrected, and so this is a pretty short round. Its due to end on Saturday at tick 2000, so Id suggest just fiddling with things and definitely attacking someone before the end to get the idea of how things work, before the new round starts.

Id also suggest joining an organisation (Im in DOM) as they will support you when they can, as well acting as a deterrent to people looking for targets, for fear of retaliations.

It is but its not at the mo! ><

It happened last week when the server its on went down due to a power failure. Im sure itll come back up soon.

I dont have any irc clients instaleld, and cba, but I think the #mechwars channel on quakenet still exists/works and you could find out what the deal is there.

Current season has now ended. New season will start soon (as in a day or two) with 10 min ticks, ending at tick 2000.

Site is accessible though for people wanting to get back in.

Tbh if you did, youd end up with org mates jumping on your base in a flash

Were at war with JW at the mo so any outside attacks are frowned upon

I do need the score though so please do send some units to be slaughtered

DOM is the best org Ive been in yet, they have an intel database which parses the EI reports and updates each countries info when a newer report is entered. Tis awesome for keeping tabs on the whole games worth of players, and in war its cheaper and quicker to find a good target!
