I think they made it free again.

Huh?

Mechwars never went Pay to play, it just went offline before it got out of beta. Im trying to figure out what the deal is with the current round, I think hes basically restored the last round from 2006, and reset everyone to 0, so people that were in the last round can pick it up again.

Aye, Im just about to hit someone with 3x as many kes as me but no ws, and is in QQQ, I bet tomorrow morning Ill have been totally wiped out haha

Look on the plus side. Said target somehow managed to amass an army about 10x as big as mine within the 9 minutes of time it took my guys to get to his base. My 10 looters didnt stand a chance. This doesnt bode well for me tonight, Im awaiting the first incoming troops message ><

I think instead of fighting each other we may need to consider working together. Unfortunately Iggy is the owner of the tekheads org... which means we cant accept new applications at all. :(

The 1 minute ticks in this closed beta I feel pretty much make it mad. Its too easy for you to walk away from the comp for half an hour and find out youve been wiped out, no chance for defensive action, so just enjoy the madness and figure out which unit combos are the best?

(And the guy I attacked did send his forces, seems he was waiting for me to log off!)

other than youve ive yet to be attacked :) Think staying low and slowly building war strength is the key :D I love how you disappear off of the ranked players list if you have no loyalty points. :D Just helps hide some more :D

Well, sort of. The top player list doesnt give coords. Im finding targets by going through the country lists and finding people with low-ish scores. The problem is that people with 0 score basically have just started and have nothing. People with a little score seem to have uber armies. Its hard finding targets, Ive found another with like loads of KEs and No ws, my forces are about to hit him in a few mins.

Im thinking I might just attack some randoms and lose my troops, my upkeep is half my income so 48 hours with no upkeep and I could have an uber army in an hour or something stupid haha

I occupied cyphers base with my 1 goliath hehe. You just had to kill that one I sent to you. He was a peaceful envoy, honest!

Ohh, this target hasnt suddenly built an army, so either hes asleep, or my looters will have a field day in a minute, I hope...

Awesome, 10 KEs!

3:4:20 if anyone wants to try their luck.

I am just about to hit 1:1:11 as he seems to have a fair few Kes and only 1/4 my WS :D
