anyone else tried single player with the haloween update yet?

I decided to start a new world and almost imediately got chased out of a cave by a zombie in broad daylight. Im pretty sure Notch has cranked up the likelyhood of bad guys spawning in dark places during the day.

I havent been to "the nether" yet since my post haloween world is still at the "OMFG Zombies!!" stage, but Ive seen a couple of vids on youtube and it looks amazing!
