In my quest for making my computer even quieter, Ive shelled out for an Antec Sonata II,

Im guessing im going to be spending a lot of time polishing the case to keep all the finger prints off it :D

Got some fan/psu gaskets, cable braid, panaflow 120mm fan and antec 92/80mm fans, also some red LEDs to replace the blue ones on the front.

Woo!

Red LEDs are cool again?

Man the modding world changes quickly. Im still for replacing all LEDs with white ones - that could never go out of style.

I like the piano black/red combo.
Also, blue LEDs are too bright and common.

Nice case, a bugger for scratches, fairly weighty - but very quiet indeed.

Built a 7900gtx/overclocked Opteron x2 system into one, and it was bearly audible!

looks like a nice case, I always prefer the ones with the HDs that way round, much easier to work with, dont know why they dont all do that ! :)

When Im gunning for a new case Ill be considering either that or the P180 if I can stretch to it.

P180 is a bit of a pig to build in, although it got voted the best case for airflow efficiency. So can knock it there.
Oh and the front door panel is about as flimsy as it gets :/

Still a bit loud with my huge Panaflow 120mm fan in the front, even at 5v.

Im going to put the rear fan on the H setting and fasten it to my Zalman fan controller along with the panaflow on the switched 5v-off-12v pair of switches,
the CPU fan will go on the dial,  the two fans in the fan duct are heat sensitive so will probably leave them as is.
