Outlook send and receive issue
on: November 02, 2010, 18:05:14 PM
Recently Outlook has been playing up. It seems to be freezing (term used loosely) whilst downloading the last email during send and receive sessions. Everything works fine, but the progress info in the bottom right will just say "Downloading message x of x..." until outlook is closed through task manager or I reboot. Anyone encountered this before and know the culprit? Some quick google searches tell me Im not alone in this, but havent found any solutions yet.

Chances are you got a big email in your popbox, log on to your webmail and have a butchers
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Just logged in, nothing there. Everything downloads fine. Say I log in after work and I have 25 emails. Itll get to 25/25 and 3.23 or 3.23mb. Nothing happens. I kill outlook in task manager. Open outlook, and the last email then receives properly.

Interestingly until that last email is received, webmail and on my phone treats the inbox as unread and so itll still list all the emails, so I think its downloading everything and then getting stuck on sending the "delete all downloaded emails" info/command?
