I'm going to see this Saturday, I've watched no trailers and read no spoilers or such, TBH this is how I intend to see all my next moo-vies.

I kind of wish I had done that but couldn't resist the hype.

Oh I've watched the trailers many times... In fact I'm going to watch the latest one again after typing this.

Going to see it on Friday at noonish. Shame it will be in a smaller screen as I refuse to go see the 3D version and they always stick in 2D version in the crappy screens :(

I was forced to go 3D, and I've got to be honest I'm not at all happy about it but it was either.

A.) go 2D, no 'premier' option so turn up at 7.15PM to get a decent seat for an 8.15PM showing, then watch 30/45 minutes of trailers and adverts.

B.) pay almost double to go 3D 'premier' turn up at 8.40PM, get a pint of guinness, take it to my guaranteed best seat in the house when the movie is literally just about to start watching no adverts or crap knowing that the usher will be bringing my 2nd guinness an hour into the movie.

I sacrificed 2D, but I can't go without premier, besides it's Sat night and you can't drink in the normal seats ;D

Which cinema can you do that in? I'd pay more for that kind of service!

In cardiff bay not only do you get free soft drinks and popcorn/nachos. You get big comfy sofa seats on a mezzanine floor above the cinema.

Costs £20 a ticket though.

Tickets booked for Sat night City Screen in York. Nice comfy seats, best sound and picture quality I've seen outside of an Imax, 2D screening on the biggest screen. I shall enjoy a martini or three with the film.

Loved it. Thought it was majestic, grand, beautiful, terrifying, and a masterpiece of science fiction. Therein lies the problem though, I think a lot of people go expecting horror when it's sci-fi through and through. It requires you to turn on your brain to extract the most from the story, and most of the "plot holes" I hear people bitching about are just questions that have been intelligently posed and left for the viewer to answer.

9/10, can't wait for Prometheus 2.

Oh I loved it and wanted it as Sci-fi not horror and I wasn't trying to point out plot holes but questioning what was going on - where some are questions that needs answering others just don't fit.

As its Ridley Scott I am hoping he does a similar thing to Kingdom of Heaven and release a hugely longer directors cut but I doubt it as he had free reign on this film.
