Cool project. Obvious idea but someone who has actually started joining everything together and give dev tools for the community to make more things.

I always thought that this is what mobile phones should be used for and now with smartphones and apps it is very easy !!!

I haven't watched the video yet, but one of the donation levels mentions no subscription, so looks like subscription may be required to use it.

WRT smart phones, they are ok but I'd still want a regular remote to operate or it would be far too slow in a lot of cases, I don't want to have to unlock my phone every time!
