Stargate Atlantis will end after fifth season.

They seem happier to carry on in the Direct-to-DVD format for some reason, even though Atlantis is still doing quite well.

Come on, how many times will it take? Sci Fi after money as soon as the actors make any kind of hint or desire they should be getting more money they show gets canned because the ratings to profit margin would be going down and sci fi want their massive profits.
The new series based on the 9th symbol and the stargate making and placement ship may still be happening but the question is what do we have for our sci fi these days? not a bloody lot.
