Thanks dude,

came across a piece of software to recover, ran a test onFriday, recoverd part of a video file (yeah), however it will take it 317hrs (13 days give or take) to do a full sweep of the disk  :whoops:

Have to buy it?

Using a trial at the min just to see if it finds anything, then I may "look" a little harder.  Worst comes to worst Ill buy it

Used that software on a trial basis, not sure how to get the data off it.

It shows a load ofstuff, but no recgonsible files names and I cant save them off to a different location.

Im not sure what to suggest next tbh.  Like I said, nothing so far that we have done should have caused this corruption.

Here is a screen shot of the program.  I wonder is it because the version is a trial.
