VirginMedia incrased XL Broadband?

Yesterday my internet connection increased from 30mb/s to 40mb/s. I noticed when my downloads started hitting > 4Mb/s so did a speedtest which came out at 41mb/s.

Anyone else experienced this? I cant see anything official about it.

Must be awesome.  My broadband hits 40KB/s sometimes...

Sadly it was short lived. The day after the line cut out and now its back at 30Mb/s.  :disappointed:
