xbl wont sign in ?

2 profiles on my 360

mine, and hers

i click on mine, go sign in, and it just comes back to the 2 profiles found bit

i click on hers, go sign in and it works

i have tried a recovery - no use

whats the story here ?

connected to the network ok? wireless or wired?

mines done that before when my router has been playing up and it wasnt connecting properly.
