Playing Left4Dead on the 360 and Im having major lag issues. I set a static address to the xbox as 192.168.1.99 and then port forwarded all xbox live and L4D specific ports to that. Still the same issue after Modem/Router/Xbox restart. So I decided to stick the Xbox outside the DMZ again same issue still pure red bar lag. Also tried with disabling and enabling UPnP.

Checked the connection and turned off the Wireless so the Xbox and my MacBook where the only thing connect to the Router and still the same issue so no outside interferance from my flatmates.

Anyone care to shed some light. ISP is with Virgin and it is normally okay with Halo 3.

Dont worry about it, the masses are grabbing L4D2 and the servers are lagged to hell from the sheer number playing it. Every other game I am playing on live is working fine without lag so I think its just L4D2 lagging under the strain.

Not just L4D1 its all valve games on live that are lagging for me. No other games are. Might be worth leaving it a while and seeing how the lag is then.

Its fun but got onto the fly between the radar missions and slowly getting annoyed with it, going to go back to it tonight

I found a server last night where I actually had all green bars on L4D last night then every other match after that was Red, asked around in game and everyone is getting the same issue
