would it not be more worthwhile sticking this all in one thread instead of cloggin up the entire forum every time something new happens in this conflict - which as it happens appears to be just about every day

Yes that would make more sense, unless an issue is of suitable merit to be entitled its own discourse.

When so-called allies start taking out UN observers, a new thread is warranted.

As I said to Dave, when Israel starts targeting the UN observers, a new thread is warranted, as such an action is pivotal. This is in no way clogging SC, which is pretty much a wasteland anyway.

Therein lies suitable merit. :) It was worth commenting for anyone else reading to avoid a clogging of the forum, as Dave put it.

Another observation: seems that as the Israeli government seems to not represent its people, the military is just as independent of the government.

Middle of the road and those on the left in Israel rally for peace in the thousands today:

seems israel is operating a 3rd world army with 1st world US equipment

the UN told them several times to stop & then they bombed the place - it wasnt just a watch tower/sanger type thing but a proper building with big walls & "UN" in big letters on all side

when turkey invaded Cyprus we were the only ones who went in to help the Cyprus people (they were pretty much defenceless)... no-one else would do anything because they didnt want to piss off America and America has nuclear missile silos in turkey...

so if we were the only ones whod go in then, wholl go in this time ?  with blare and bush in bed together I doubt itll be us....

unless we go in after to clean up :(
