I'm sure people have seen the news story on the BBC news website. If not, here is a link:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-13885457Basically what are peoples thoughts on this? It seems the owner has been arrested for attempted murder but not charged yet. Seeing as David Cameron has said before that home owners should be able to use "reasonable force" to protect themselves and their homes I don't think the man should be charged with attempted murder. Four people broke into his house and he managed to stab one of them. 4v1 seems like sh*tty odds to me, so I'm not surprised he decided to arm himself.
Anyway, be interesting to see people's views on this.
Also here is a follow up story saying that the said burglar was on bail for another burglary when he was killed.
