Christmas shopping weblist
on: November 24, 2009, 19:29:34 PM
So, "Not long to go now".

I propose compiling a list of websites that contain useful/fun/cool gift ideas. Yeah theres firebox and IWOOT, but sometimes for some people it seems you can go through the whole site and not find the right thing. Im struggling for my sis at the moment. Post up the websites you use for gifts and Ill keep this OP updated with a list. Maybe try to sort some sort of category/rating/description system going. Id imagine a lot of the initial sites will be well known to all of us, but I am guessing between us there are a number of hidden net-gems which are both cheap and supply alternative things.

Food & Drink
http://www.bigpockets.co.uk - Listed here simply because of their edibles section. Otherwise if you want to buy someone some CDs...
http://www.hotelchocolat.co.uk/
http://www.thedrinkshop.com/

Gadgetry and funkyness
http://www.firebox.com - cool gifts, gadgets, toys, tech, food etc
http://www.iwantoneofthose.com - cool gifts, gadgets, toys, tech, food etc

Games
http://www.play.com/ - among other things

Tech
http://www.tekheads.co.uk
http://www.ebuyer.co.uk - Pretty comprehensive

Other Half

http://uk.tiffany.com/

Crazily cheap stuff you had no idea you wanted, but now you do,

http://www.dealextreme.com/

Keep in mind that although everything is INC P&P its from the far east, so generally takes a weekish to get here.

doubt youd get them back in time. Delivery is taking over 2 weeks atm.
Waiting for stuff that was shipped 10 days ago, which I ordered 4 weeks ago.
