Pipes are good fun and nice with different types of tobacco for flavour, certainly a hassle though and more of a novelty I think.
As for a humidor chrisdicko, if you intend on making it a habit you can start off easily by making your own or using a
humijar that needs little attention with fresh cigars stored in (basically a sealable glass jar with a humidifying cylinder in, they are a bit cheaper than a full humidor). If you intend on getting quite a few to keep and smoke at your leisure Id say its worth it, I got mine in the last sale they had for about £30 I think, they threw in the humidifier, guage, distilled water solution, matches, etc. bargain really if youre going to maintain it. Mine needs some TLC before I can actively use it again I think, but I know I have it there to use for when I have a bit of money to splash on a few nice cigars again.
