Is it possible to find out when the googlemobile is in the area? Im guessing they try not to tell you so that more people dont do stuff like this. Certainly Id be tempted to try something silly outside my house

Im guessing maybe they either advertise in local papers for the privacy thing so that people are aware its happening and how if they dont want to take part they can go to whatever page it is to opt out, or maybe its on the local radio that people call in to say "hey, you never know what I just saw go past my house, the google streetview car!"?

I certainly wouldnt put it past my local radio stations to make a fuss out of it.
