Im off to the....

.... Lake District at the bank holiday, anyone any idea if there are any really good pubs/restaraunts/things to do/see/etc???
Ive found a few things but what Im really wanting is recommendations.

Any info you can give me would be really helpful.

Its been years since Ive been Lake District.  Tbh there is no shortage of good pubs or food.  Things to do, go visit some caves.  No really they are just fantastic, for the life of me though I cant remember where I visited.

One thing your not short of up there is walking routes which come highly recomemnded.

The lake district is awesome, really nice sleepy place.

Speaking of which, anyone know of anything to do in north devon?  Im off there for a week with the gf

Where abouts? Theres summer festivals and carnivals kicking off now.

Im going to one in Teignmouth/Shaldon tomorrow.

where you going?  I spent every weekend, and all my school holidays up there from the age of 4 to 16.  

Depends what you are looking for TBH.  You just missed the "Kendal Calling" fesitival, but there are other smaller ones around if you want a bit of fun.
