Its that time of the year :D

Cob nuts are back in season. Awesomeness. For some reason Im not too keen on hazelnuts, but cob nuts are my fave nut :D

Will be shelling a load tomorrow morning and putting them in a container for munchies whilst out in the field methinks. Seems Im turning into a bit of a squirrel when in the field, diet being pretty much nuts and cereal ><

What do cob nuts taste like, Ive never heard of them. Is there a nut comparison?

Yeah, they are just a variety of hazelnut, about the main difference is that theyre fresh off of the shrub/tree/thingy complete with greenery. So I find them a bit milkier/moister than dried hazelnuts.
