Kebabs
on: February 28, 2009, 09:36:53 AM
I couldnt find the thread about kebabs being so unhealthy, but figured food and drink would be cool.

I took a photo of the epic kebabs from the place near uni the other day. Forgive the size of the photo, was testing the ftp on my phone so its come straight off of that and on to my server.

This is actually a slightly smaller kebab than usual, they used to fill the tray with meat (with the pitta on the bottom) and then give you a small polystyrene tray with the salad in ><

No green chillis or mayo, not a kebab.
I know sh*ts bad right now with all that starving bullsh*t and the dust storms and we are running out of french fries and burrito coverings.

Doner Kebab was originally Turkish or something, so no mayo or chillies, both are optional. Original thread.

claims range from lamb off-cuts to rat offal.

Remember it doesnt taste as good without the rat offal ;)

Thats just the meat content of my favourite kebab vans kebabs, then they throw on salad, home made mint/garlic yoghurt, jalepenos, chili sauce, etc. THEN you have a kebab.

Their kebabs are so good Im going to do them a website for free.

Im not too fond of chilli sauce, it kinda takes the taste away from everything else. If it was a milder chilli i think it would be alright, be the mild chilli in most kebabs doesnt have any tang to it at all, and then the normal chilli is like eating birds eye chillis

They are buried under the meat ;)

You can just see a chilli on the left by the clippy bit on the tub.

There is a delicate craft to applying the right amount of chilli sauce to blend with garlic mayo and other such treats and create the pefect kebab sauce. True kebabatiers know the art of this.

Cheesy chips makes a great side or follow up to a kebab.
