IIRC he left after an argument with me in Speakers Corner which at the time I didnt even realise was any more special a thread than any other in that section.

In fairness at no point did I (or anyone else really) use a sharp tongue.  Theres a difference between arguing eloquently and being rude.  I can 100% say there was no rudeness coming from this end at least :)

Perhaps you could specify where the sharp tongue bit came in as I still fail to see where anyone caused this other than several people putting up a strong argument against one of his opinions.  Perhaps I missed something or another thread where something happened....

In fairness he also treated a fair few people very badly simply because he didnt agree with their opinions, and it did eventually get to the point where there was no point posting when Maxi was involved (particularly in SC) because he always knew best. Sort of defeating the object of a discussion forum really I suppose.

Your thread might have been civil, but as a guest looking in you see how people treat others, I know Im an idiot, but I dont deserve the abuse I get, Max sees that.
