More cheeky banks

apparently even tho the bank of england has dropped interest rates, the high street banks might not both passing it on to us.

Is that true? They are quick enough to put the rates up when the BoE does, they should have to put them down too.

off course its true!

theyve lost millions in the states. Someone has to foot that bill.

Whats the point in having a Bank Base Rate if the Banks arent actually tied to it?

apparantly so. however some of them are leaving the savings rates alone too, so if youve got similar amounts of savings to your mortgage, you wont notice it. but seriously, why would you have?

Some banks are passing it on - some are using it to free up money lending internally.  The banks workings probably more important than passing on to the customers for the overall economy.

As much as that sucks.
