guys, gettiung thrown into the deep end here... can really do with a lot of advice as to staffing levels, GP, NI, etc. etc. anyone that can help (Sam + etc) would be muchly appreciated... plz pm "help available" and ill fill in full details.. thanks!

...short story is my pubs being sold, my managers being moved to corporate, and some dick from a pub over the road is being put "in charge", although ill be doing all the work. Im quite capable of creating a P/L graph+ much etc., but just need... help! everything i create has to be run by my regional manager and id like to run it by a few independent adjudicators first!!!

its getting sold? - pity - that place is a bit of a student institution - dont understand why they opened a second pub from the same chain accross the road though

eh? I thought he was on about the southseas & the other pub across the road being the new scream pub they opened up when Oneils got sold

youre right.

im basically gonna be doing a sh*t load of unpaid work, and taking on the workload of a manager, today im gonna have to find the figures for freshers week last year, and figure out when i have to hire some staff... joy! the manager from The York (ONeils) is signing for everything today, am a tad pissed off!

give it a couple of weeks until your in the nity-grity of it and iriplacible... then go after a nice big pay rise :)

the guy that has signed for the pub has said that he will only put his name on the books if im there... me 4tw!
