In homage to Petes burger thread i thought id document this evenings dinner; a steak sandwich.

You will need:
4 slices of thick bread, full fat Helmans mayo, Heinz tomato ketchup, Reggae reggae sauce, 1 sliced onion, 2 large sliced gherkins, 8 Birdseye fish fingers in batter, a few slices of ham, some chips, some tomatoes, some sun-dried tomatoes, some cheddar cheese and of course a large steak.

Spread mayo on the bread. Add tomato sauce and 4 fish fingers per sandwich,

Add chips

Add sliced cheddar cheese

Add steak (oiled, peppered and seared quickly on a griddle)

Spread reggae reggae sauce on the steak, add thick-cut slices of ham, add sliced tomatoes and sun-dried tomatoes, add sliced gherkin and lettuce. Enjoooooy.

Having just consumed a fried chicken family bucket on my own, those pictures make me feel a wee bit queasy.

Surf & turf - looks awesome.

Fish Fingers = win.

Steak = win.

Fish Fingers + Steak = Double Win - may well have to give this a try some time.

Tend to agree, one or the other is best.

The day they crossbreed chickens with spiders will be ace, youll be able to get buckets of just the drumsticks.

Maybe if they then crossbred them with that species of dog with the floppy skin, thered then be craploads of skin :D

Haha, i did consider it with the chips but the platform provided by the surface of the fish fingers wasnt condusive to neat stacking, that and they were the last chips in the bag so there were a lot of small non uniform chips in there.

I had to spend a long time last night recovering.

If i did it again i think i would omit the chips, might replace them with onion rings.

because of the quantity it didnt need the extra filling effect of the chips.

Also, more mayo next time.
