I do have a brown Tomy "Sky Attack" in the cupboard, I remember that was great fun. Totally a Tron Rip-off or vice versa.

The question is, Was the Turning Turbo Dashboard really the greatest drive youve ever made?

Surprised no one has mentioned pogs yet, though I guess they were more of a game than toy, and most here were maybe a year or two too old for them when they hit.

I am guessing

i) your an only child (at least male child)
ii) you didnt have many friends growing up

I base this mainly on Pogs & micromachines.. pocket toys.

That or his siblings were much older/younger or girls. Ive been wondering over what some of you guys had/have, and thinking about my family, having a sister thats 4 years older than you when you are growing up is pretty much like being an only child in terms of toys, there wasnt much overlap!

Things like pogs and micromachines though could equally be for larger families as I imagine there could be a fair bit of trading going on?

I remember I used to have a really cool terminator set where you had an endo-skeleton and it went into a mold, you then mixed up some powder in this vat thing and pumped it into the mold, creating the skin/flesh on top, that was soooooooo cool, was ace shooting it with other things and watching the flesh come off. Until the powder ran out of course.

I guess it must of been some kind of alginate or something :D

Pogs, conkers, football stickers, football cards were the big thing in the playgrounds as a kid.

The original "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" figures, not the crap rangers kids get today. I remember having the Blue, Red and Green ranger figures, the Green being my favourite.

I also remember having Space Precinct toys when that was popular, but the one thing I always wanted as a kid was a full Ghostbusters outfit, proton pack, trap, the lot, unfortunately my dream never came to pass and what made it worse was that a friend of mine got the full kit, man I was so jealous. :(

This is almost worthy of being the sequel to confectionary wars tbh.

I cant help but think weve forgotten some other treasured gems though. No one has mentioned Tamagotchis yet?
