are there any deals in the sales? its high time i had a DSLR for taking shots of cars and would love to take one away to france for some snowboarding shots in three weeks time, as id like to take some decent shots and get them mounted for pics in the house.

anyone seen any deals that must not be missed?

budget is 300 notes really, i know this will be a low end camera but im cool with that.

PC World have a stock clearance at the moment, worth taking a look in there just incase, from another forum:

My local Jacobs have a Sony Alpha A200 with a 17 - 85mm lens (its the standard lens) for a shade under £240! Which is a bargain, from what Ive investigated its on par with the Canon 450D.

Ive read a few good things about it.
