Eye shots...a progression
on: December 06, 2010, 19:24:20 PM
It dawned on me earlier that I seem to try and take a macro shot of my eye at least once every year... its kind of interesting to not only see how my eyes change but also the quality of the image, so any thoughts on the below
(And yeah, I know theres a gap between #1 and #2, I did take some in 2007-2008 but I think they were that bad I never uploaded them and have since been lost in the ether)

This was the first one, think it was kit canon lens + a close up filter and my dive torch...my nightvision was out for a week. Its been used loads on deviantart as its relatively clean and easy to use in manipulations. But comparing it to the below it now seems to pale in comparison.

Broke the norm here, the kit lens+filter combo never got me any results better than the above when I tried again, so thats why it goes 06-09. This one was using super macro on the Olympus.  Seems sharper but the edges seem to distort I think.

Most recent version from the last week. I didnt try so much to get the whole iris, but it seems to be sharper and cleaner than the above.
