My first ever light painting!

A rare night off put to good use!



And apparently I write neater with a torch than a biro!
Career, Wife, Mortgage... my sig was better when it listed guitars and PC's and stuff!

Tried to do this ages ago with a friend, he was doing the painting bit I was just pressing the shutter release for him, but its harder than it looks especially when trying to do it quick enough so you don't get any of the background lit up (unless you want it to of course!) how'd you manage it with this or have you shopped stuff out?

Those were cheap LED keyrings. A tripod and remote control eliminate the need for friends ;)

I found it was just a case of getting the room as dark as possible, and then playing a bit with aperture and ISO settings. Do a few test runs to see what settings get the brightness you want at the speed you're moving your arms.
