on: June 05, 2011, 23:42:25 PM
Binary and I went out to a site I've surveyed the last couple of years, where there were some breeding hobbies. didn't see them or much else really, but we did get a chance to try and do some macro photography, can't not put any images up so here we go, comments welcome :D

I quite like this one, bet its not the easiest thing in the world to get close enough to them to get this much in the frame in one go, might have been nice if it was portrait with a bit more of it in but it is rather sharp mind.  What lens was it taken with?

100mm macro. That guy wasn't budging, could poke it in the eye etc.

I have shots of it full frame, but I like that as I was seeing how close I could get it with sharpness etc. I think if it wasn't windy so the twig it was on wasn't moving I could have got it much sharper :D

lol it must have enjoyed posing for you, had a swan do that the other month tis quite amusing.

Its annoying when it is slightly windy doing macro work, the slightest breeze at the wrong moment can cause problems.
