Last attempt at revival, two entries.

http://www.tekforums.co.uk/posts/list/8390.page

Problem 1:  you need a good few entries for a reasonable competition - at least six.

Problem 2: you need a moderator who gives a damn about them.
.................Stoopid bastard quit didnt he?
.................Now he cant edit the threads to put the polls in or remove the spare posts.

to be fair, last time the theme was wildlife and the world promptly did a Noahs flood re-enactment. My Pentax is weatherproof but that doesnt make me any more likely to go out in the pouring rain.

Im up for giving it another try, probably a good idea to pick a subject which can be done without the co-operation of the weather though.

Might be better to not have a subject and just let people go all out?

Might make it a bit harder to judge though.
"Within your 'purview'? Where do you think you are, some f**king regency costume drama? This is a government department, not some f**king Jane f**king Austen novel!"

I think the subject should be more simplistic, ie (macro, blue, water etc.)  How we going to moderate?  Is there someone up for doing this?

The only way is with a moderator. Unfortunately the software for this forum is crap so you cant be limited to one area easily.

I think it would also work out better if the topic challenge was less specific/more vague given how few entries were being put in!

It depends on how you interpret it. Wildlife could mean a lot of things from the normal animals, insects or kids at times, even a party! Even limiting it to wild animals means you have a range of possible subjects.
