The WHeels on the girfriends brand new bike are bent, and due to my tardiness its past the time she can send it back to the mail order place she got it. Anyone got a decent place i can pick up some cheap 700Cm wheels? Got brand new tyres and tubes, they are fine, but the rims are rather bent out of shape. Im going to see if the local (Proper) bike shop can straighten them out, but I know from experience they cant always be pulled back into shape.
700CM!!!! thats pretty big? Is this the bike?

:w00t:
Its 700c rather than cm
700c is quite common out there, I got a replacement front from ebay for £20, most local bike shops should be able to either repair, or sort out a wheel for her.
Failing that if it is 700cm your local museum will have a penny farthing :) distract the guard and steal its wheel :D
sorry, was mistyping in annoyance of my own stupidity at not putitng it together straight away. Gonna try the proper locla bike shop, aparrently they can fix them if they arent kinked, and they should be able to do it.

If it was her fault then forget this. If they were bent on arriveal and, if it was new and still under warrantee, you should be still able to get them done if you ask nicely.

"only" got 28 days to report damage on delivery. Yes i have been lazy. I checked, and its £10 per wheel for straightening, though i have to just drop them off and pick them up when they ring me later in the week. Fine by me!
