Problems. Meh

Its got a spark, its got fuel, its got air. It just wont start, the engine turns. I aint got the correct light to check the timeing incase ive knocked it out slightly by putting in a new belt, if so going to take it to a garage to do the timeing as I aint got the tools to do it :(

knighty

if got the kit if you want to borrow it ?

how does it sound when its spinning ?

sur you got the HT leads on in the right order ? :p

filbert

You dont need no kit to time it, its not adjustable.
Check you got the belt on correctly, or as knighty said have you got the leads on in the right order?

Then you turn it back to the marks on the pullys, you only need to align the crank and cam pullys with the notches.

This is what I did:

Re-fitted the head,
Re-fitted the injection system,
Re-fitted the manifold,
Re-Fitted a New Timing Belt and the Auxillary Belt,
Re-Fitted covers,
Released the locking bolt on the timing belt,
Adjusted the tappets.
Finished the rebuild, covers, HT leads etc where all kept in the correct order I took them out.

Tho. Here is the tho. Counting from left to right, facing the engine bay:

1 was not fireing,
2,3,4 was fireing,

Taking it up the garage to get finished off, its annoyed me to much now :( Im looking at a new car in June, looking for a 106 Rallye S2. :)
