Seems the news has changed.
At the time of posting it was TVR layoff half the staff (permanently).
Hes got bored of his train set
Not good. Ive been saying to friends for a while, TVR need to go into competition with Jaguar on the X Type.
QuoteThe firm was founded in 1947 by Trevor Wilkinson, who used three consonants from his first name for the company title.
Somehow, the name TVR has just lost its cool. Every time I see one Ill just think "ah, theres a Trevor"
Bah! Bah I say!
I cum in my pants everytime I hear one - and see one.
Well I dont but they are gorgeous, both to look at and to hear.
i posted this a few days ago ;)
it is just another example pathetic manufacturing insdustry of this country the thing that gets me the most though is that Ryton is more productive than nearly all of PSAs other factories putting out 67 cars per worker MORE than the best of their french factories.
I soooo think TVR and MG should (or shouldve) teamed up with each other to make a BEAST of a Rover 45 or somthing like that.
It just got worse...
