I got caught in the end of it last week when heading from Beijing to Xian. Its been really crazy here in China with the summer holidays and the Shanghai Expo on (roads crazy and trains sold out 10 days before). Its calmed down slightly now its sept but starts again in Oct when there is a big holiday
