There has been a lot of bad press about wiggle as of late,
Fraudsters have been getting hold of the card details.
Not sure if its staff or an outside source, but beware. Its all over our noticeboard at work

cheers for the heads up...
...i was going to order a pair of endura shorts from them.
are they still having problems over at wiggle?
ive not seen anything on their website.
yep hes right! (soopahfly is)
I was a victim of this very thing via wiggle a couple of months ago
I hadnt used them for a couple of years either before that
got fleeced for a fair whack (i do check it regularly online and caught it very early but the card company screwed up in a BIG way which enabled them to carry on spending after I had reported it)
I spotted the fraudulent use after about Ã,£25 had been spent on my card (funnily enough it was all in and around Portsmouth)
Only the CC company reissued my new card to the fraudster in Portsmouth with my new pin number!!! HAPPY DAYS!!
So they then spend a few grand to teach Halifax a lesson :D
I got it all back though.
(i re-register after all this time for this thred - nice one soopahfly!!)
edit: makes grim reading really

QuoteIm sorry youve experienced Credit Card fraud and I appreciate why you feel
wiggle may be involved.
We have always set out to be the kind of company that we would want to deal
with if we were making an online purchase. Consequently, weve taken
security and customer service very seriously indeed and appreciate the trust
placed in us by all of our customers when giving us their card details.
The loss of trust in us by some key customers has been especially traumatic.
We feel that we have always been deserving of your trust and are making
every effort to ensure that we are worthy of it in future. We have conducted
a root and branch security review since these issues came to light a few
weeks ago. We found no security breaches.
Our security proceedures are constantly reviewed and upgraded. We feel that
our current practice is exemplary and is as near impenetrable as existing
technology will allow. Unfortunately, I cant discuss precise details for
fear of giving devious minds some useful hints. I appreciate that this
inability to discuss specifics may appear evasive but, on reflection, Im
sure you can appreciate that we have no choice but to exercise discretion
about these matters.
We will, of course, co-operate fully with any Police or Credit Card issuing
Bank investigation into card fraud. I have not received any notice that a
police investigation is going to take place which is a pity as it would
represent one of the few ways we have of finally clearing our name.
Please keep me informed of any further developments
yours
Harvey Jones

At the end of the day, wiggle is one of the most popular retailers for cycle gear. The only communities that this is actively discussed on are cycling websites, does it not then seem sensible that everyone who has ever experienced card fraud and been a cyclist would have had some transactions from wiggle.
