Practical fixed gear came back a couple years ago, my 925 and the Bianchi San Jose being two mainstream examples. Randonneuring bikes started trickling back last year and are even stronger this year--on the merit of being the most practical bike one can own. And this year, were seeing tons of awesome utility bikes. Beautiful pieces of usable sculpture! Notice the return to normal wheels and even some tan skinwalls here and there.
