Practical fixed gear came back a couple years ago, my 925 and the Bianchi San Jose being two mainstream examples. Randonneuring bikes started trickling back last year and are even stronger this year--on the merit of being the most practical bike one can own. And this year, were seeing tons of awesome utility bikes. Beautiful pieces of usable sculpture! :D Notice the return to normal wheels and even some tan skinwalls here and there. :D
