Quite a busy one today again - diary in pictures! (Phone camera pictures all round - apologies)

Finished sticking the greddy intercooler in the 2 today

After that little job was complete, I cut out the backplate for the ITG filter for the throttle bodies on the BX, and started to tidy the wiring.

The result:

Last thing to do was start to put the imp back together - came back from a full respray recently in its original colour. Spent a short time changing the throttle cable

After a day working, posting a few shots on the net! lol

Looks, really nice, however, shouldnt the intercooler be somewhere where cold air can flow over it in massive amounts?  I thought that was the whole reason behind bonnet scoops, so as you could have a huge airflow over an intercooler.

theres a vent right in front of the intercooler, u cant see it cause its covered by the intercooler

correct. there is an air scoop in the bodywork (Two slats) that direct air straight on to it. Also one at the other side for the air intake!
