Found a Calibra locally for Ã,£750 its the 4 wheel drive one I think the 2l turbo? Looks clean on the outside and immaculate inside havent had a look at the engine but its lowered with adjustable suspension and a new full stainless steel exhaust set-up...
As much as its tempting I think the insurance would kill me, 2years ncb 0 offences....
Anything I should be looking for if I think about getting it?
what reg and miles?
u sure its a turbo not a 4x4 NON turbo?
rust is the main thing i think, look everywhere for it. floor, sills, jacking points, inside panels etc.
i think after a certain year they started to galv them tho so if it is after that then not much to worry about.
check all the electrics, and also i am yet to find a vaux trip computer that works properly tbh
nice looking cars tho.
PM me your MSN and we can discuss them, im on my 5th after all
Mine works properly ;)
Ã,£750 for a calibra on the mainland - i wouldnt touch it with yours.
I would if its a turbo, make your money back in minutes if needs be.
for Ã,£750 the 4x4 probably wont be working and itll have rusty bits tbh

i guess he means the trip computer.
all the ones i have seen, esspecially in astras freeze all the time andthe displays die.
Ã,£750 for the calibra,
Ã,£250 Max, for structural welding (the outside might look mint, but 90% of vauxhalls of that age will need a bit of welding)
So for less than Ã,£1000 youll have a great FWD 2.0 turbo car. Go for it.
great it wont be, FWD in these is.. well dangerous TBFH, the toruqe steer is shocking and the wheelspin is insane, never drive mine in the wet in FWD
And you have the disgusting interior to put up with...
A car at that class of money is going to be ropey - especially a mainland car.
