I think that might just be slightly broken...
Sports in general by their nature entails some risk due to physical activity which tests a persons strength, stamnia and skill. Professional Football can account for many injurys to the legs and feet, if it was a new sport today it would face serious pressure from health and safety executives including the possibilty of being forced to change or be scrapped altogether.
The number of injuries sustained by profesional footballers far outnumbers other team sports in terms of the severity and frequency of injuries.
