u suck :P
there is a lack of "woohoo england won" threads, but I guess everyone is too buys enjoying it to be posting on teh net ?
1 - zipp I want to see more goals :D
Only ONE goal? Pure random chance. Lucky you didnt get paraguayed (a setting on many food processors).
If the Roon doesnt come back, we WILL not get anyway near the WC final... in fact even with Rooney (he isnt an out and out striker) we arent going to win it... we dont have enough fire power up front, end of story... :(
At least they won this one - just.
1-0 and it was an Own Goal :D lol so in theory... Paraguay scored more than England that match :D rofl. :D
QuoteFifa has confirmed that Englands goal against Paraguay on Saturday will go down as a Carlos Gamarra own goal.
The Paraguay captain headed a David Beckham free-kick into his own net after three minutes to hand England a 1-0 victory in the Group B contest.
Gamarra said he thought his touch was minimal and did not change the balls direction but Fifas technical study group ruled the contact was decisive.
Fifa is trying to award dubious goals to attacking players in the World Cup.

England are NOT going to walk away with the Cup on that form... probably the worst Sunday League performance Ive ever witnessed. They were incredibly lucky.
Ã,Â
No offence but that is a crock of sh*t.
Worst sunday league performance, rubbish. Our defense was pretty solid, our attack wasnt the best but its better than Swedens luck.
Give them a break unless youre one of the "just trying to be different types" by finding fault with them and cheer for the opposition.
Get behind them if youre English, or are you a sing when youre winning person?
COME ON ENGLAND!
Cheers

There was problems with water supply which they are looking into, seems the ref didnt allow enough time for drinking water.
Ã,Â
Pfft. Water.
Theyre supposed to be fit athletes.... its only a lil bit of running (now and again) for 90 mins or so.
Not exactly strenuous activity.
Ã,Â
They would lose about 10 pounds body weight in water alone.
So they would need to drink about 2.5 to 9 litres of water during those 90 minutes. It has nothing to do with match fitness its more about common sense unless you want to suffer the typical risks of dehydration or worse.
You can avoid cramping and dehydration by drinking about a liter per hour when doing hard physical exercise in the heat. I routinely go on epic bicycle rides of 2+ hours in 30C+ and that amount works for me. You want to drink before and afterwards as well. You could try and drink more than a liter per hour, but your body would have a hard time absorbing it and just whiz it out. Drinking water during exercise doesnt prevent mild dehydration, it just tempers it a bit.
The mexican referee that refused to allow the water bottles will not be allowed to referee any more games after the group stages because of this. Shame.
