even though I would never normally support the french in anything I cant stand portugals cheating ways

I take it is not much of a dilemma then :)
They were busy falling in this game as well.
The French are usually knowledgeable enough about warfare to know that we are going to kick their rears virtually every time and have done. so I think I will be backing our enemies from across the channel :)
If it was Portugal vs Argentina then it would be a much closer decision.
