Title: Exercise recommendations

Heh my first post in this horrible area of the forums :P

I have started doing 10miles a day on a bicycle (to get to work and back) which is forcing me to get abit fitter & save some money... Its killing me at the moment but should quickly get easier :)

Basicly I think the next step is going to be poping to the gym after work for a couple hours and was wondering what peoples recommendations would be for a good workout routine? Main goals are to shed some of the weight (my main fat stores being beer belly, moobs, handles) and get my fitness up in the next 4 months before leaving Sydney.

I will hopefully be spending alot of time doing some enduro riding on motorbike starting from end of July / Mid Aug which I need to get my endurance up for, it was exsausting when i was fitter nevermind now.

heh heh remember your Dads comment a few years back when you got out of the shower? Leon - your getting fat!    I remember how annoyed you were that he was loads bigger than you!!  :rofl:

you can buy a set of dumb bells from argos and then buy more weights seperately. i can only do about 37lb cos my back is shot but theres videos on youtube you can follow. - (I wanna start the gym but I dont wanna look like a noob so Im practicing). I do like 50 sit-ups, 60 push-ups (Im a skinny bastard), and various dumb belly stuff til I pass out. the sit-up things are great for losing beer flab.

Ive gone from 10.5 to 11.5 stone in the past 6months doing this. I eat loads and drink tons of beer - for me this seems to be the trick cos I used to work out a lot but never put on weight.
