.... in tears, Italy to the final doing 2 - 0 the last 2 minutes they would have lost penalty shots, I think they knew that and did everything to avoid it. Germany has been playing very well this time though.
I must say I felt sorry for ze-germans. They played a blinding game and to lose it in the dying mins of ET is just harsh, especially by 2 goals.
Still, it certainly did make for an entertaining climax :)
Italy won it with style, but poor Germany. They would have likely taken it in penalties. Two goals. :cry:
wow - awesome finish to the game - few minutes left of extra time & they score - then the germans get close to having an oppertunity - but the italians bring it back & score again - fantastic football - bet italy was getting worried about the prospect of penalties vs germany
A good finish to a good game, I hate penalies they normally put the wrong team out.
